Meet Angela. She is Beauty Revived.

You can call me Angela and I am Beauty Revived.

As a mom, you would do anything for your children and your biggest fear is that something will happen to them. Especially one that isn’t even born yet. I worked as a nurse and had decided to go to work part time as pharmacy tech while I was going back to college. And working in the pharmacy, you meet lots of crazy people on medication so my coworkers and I always had a few admirers.

There was one guy that would always come in that was pretty fond of me and the pharmacist I worked with. She paid for his medication once because he wouldn’t pay for it and he would just start going crazy. After that, we figured that’s it is better to be nice to him than to make him upset. One day, he came into the pharmacy asking for a spare envelope. I wasn’t there and was mad that no one would give him one. He said he just wanted to send me a letter. My mom ended up getting a letter from him. We still are not sure how he found her address, I think he thought I lived there. He tried to send me stuff. Not bad stuff but creepy stuff nonetheless.

One night, I was asleep and I thought I heard a noise. Being home alone, I called the police just to be safe. They said it was nothing so, of course, I felt kind of dumb. Two hours later, I heard more noises. I figured I was just going crazy or hearing things. Thankfully, both my two small children were at my moms house for the weekend due to me having to work and going to class. A little while later, I heard someone cough. At that moment, I knew I wasn’t going crazy. I called the cops again and I knew I had to get out the house! They told me to sneak out of the house the back way so he wouldn’t see me or know that I was there. While doing that, he saw me. I tried to run but ended up tripping and falling on my way out of the house.

Luckily, the police ended up catching him but my unborn baby and I weren’t that lucky. I went to the hospital where they told me that the baby was no longer moving. I had to have a emergency c section to give birth to my child at only 4 months gestation. After a night like that, the worst part was coming home without my child. I was severely depressed and I ended up leaving the guy I was engaged to. Seven years later, I met my now husband who taught me how to love again. It was very hard for me to get close to anyone but with my husband, it was love at first sight. I had been alone for so long. I knew what my children wanted and what I needed and he was it. We got married four months after we met.

Looking back, I don’t think that man would have hurt me. I just panicked and tripped, but you never know how people are going to act nowadays. We now have a one year old and I am currently pregnant with our 4th child. Life does goes on but I will never forget that night. And even though that was seven years ago, it is still a hard thing to talk about.
