Meet Libier. She is Beauty Revived.
Grace changes everything. For Libier, it has made all the difference. Behind the outward beauty and radiant smile, so much has happened in her life that could have torn down the walls of kindness, empathy and grace. It could have stolen her contagious laugh, her strength and her resolve, but with Libier, her experiences have served as a catalyst to strengthen her faith, her resolve to help others, and her ability to raise her daughters with wisdom beyond her years.
This woman saved by Grace has been a victim of abuse, both physical and emotional. Beginning at the age of four, she was sexually abused, which led to tendencies to self harm, struggles with bulimia, addiction, fear, resentment and unforgiveness. Her mother, whom she loves immensely, attempted suicide, twice. This traumatic event brought Libier to her knees, asking for God’s help for the first time in her adult life. Libier was was again sexually assaulted in her early twenties, all the while trying to escape the emotional wounds of others who had little knowledge of the deep cuts they were inflicting. Once a slave to fear and a life she considered unsafe, however, she has undergone a healing that can can only be described as miraculous. She is like a butterfly evicting itself from the pull of the worldly, embracing the arms of the Almighty.
She now considers her life as something that has become a testimony, a life worth living and sharing, and using to serve. “When God does exceedingly beyond all that I could have ever dreamt or imagined, I cannot help but to give back”, she says. Being given true forgiveness to all who have done her wrong, she has experienced true freedom. She is free to love and serve with an open heart with the hope that God can bring good out of any situation.
Today, Libier is passionate about serving women and helping to inspire and build their character. Her purpose is to help them see there is hope in the lives they live – in their womanhood, motherhood, sisterhood and as daughters of God. Her deepest desire is to share some of the wisdom she has gained through her life, her broken past and her years of healing. She believes she can help others by sharing her story and through her demonstration that beauty can come from ashes. She finds freedom in her art and it serves to help her connect with others in need of encouragement. None of this would have been possible without her amazing faith in God and the love that Jesus Christ has poured out on her. She describes this saving love as a heart transformation, and desires to spend her life serving Him and giving Him glory for all that she accomplishes. 2 Corinthians 4:7 is one of her life verses: “I am but a jar of clay, so that the surpassing greatness of the power may be of God, and not of myself ”, and it really plays out beautifully in her life.
Libier is Beauty Revived. She has used her healing and love to aid victims of human trafficking, abuse and low self esteem. She has taken the passion she has as an artist to inspire other women to be all they are called to be. As leading actor, she filmed her first movie, “Splashed” in 2013. It was released in 2015, a complete miracle having been shot on a zero budget. It was such a blessing that some of the proceeds from the movie sales went to Courage House, an anti-trafficking non-profit organization. She also wrote her first song, “New”, and listed it on iTunes. She is giving the first 500,000 downloads to City Of Refuge, a anti-trafficking non-profit organization in Sacramento, California that help children who are victims of trafficking. She also actively writes her blog entries to encourage and empower women to live life abundantly.
While it has not been an instant healing, the grace and love found in Libier’s redemption has served to help other women and mothers through the unspeakable into loving arms of Grace.
