Meet Jodi. She is Beauty Revived.
Jodi is an inspiration of strength, hope and faith. Before becoming the beautiful mother that she is now, she went through a long journey of infertility struggles that led to disappointment, confusion and sadness but through it all she never lost hope. She never gave up and said, “I knew that there was something that I needed to learn from this.” And so she began her journey into holistic health to figure out what she could do from the inside out to help increase her chances of pregnancy. This journey turned into a passion, which has led her to become the holistic health coach she is today – gifting people with the knowledge to feel their best through food and lifestyle changes.
With her new passion and career to keep her busy, she still kept her faith, never lost hope and “had a sense that everything would work out the way it was supposed to.” A year ago her sister, Kelly, came to her with the ultimate gift that would finally give Jodi and her husband a chance at having a child of their own.
In the words of her sister, Kelly:
“Jodi has influenced me in so many ways over the last 35 years. While she always was the “bossy” older sister, her confidence in what she wants and her desire to share the truth with people and initiate positive change has been inspiring. She has motivated me to investigate my passions, my health and has walked along with me giving advice and always making the journey more fun! Going on long walks together has been one of our ways to spend quality time this last decade or so. It was on these walks that I came to understand Jodi’s struggle of not knowing if she’d ever become a mom. She never let it rule her mind or heart, but it was obviously a painful trial she endured for many years. I remember the day she received the call that the first attempt at IVF was unsuccessful. There was nothing to say as I stood there with my stroller and my first-born son who had been with us that day. It was years, and many attempts later, before the time came for me to offer to be her gestational carrier. I knew I wanted to and knew I would if the timing played out. Sure enough after my 3rd baby, the time came for me to make that offer.
Carrying and delivering my healthy, beautiful nephew was an incredible experience. I knew that all I could do was offer and that God would create a life if He chose to. I always felt that this was a right path and I am honored that Jodi and her husband Heath trusted me to carry it out. We will never be the same after experiencing this journey together. A beautiful, joy-filled, inspiring ambassador for true health and true purpose describes my sister. And now, adding to that list the title, “Mom.” There’s no greater name I love to hear for her. Dalton is a true miracle and I will cherish my role in his life forever.”
