Meet Cierra. She is Beauty Revived.
Meet Cierra Alonzo, she is a Senior at Uvalde High School. Cierra will be turning 18 on January 24th and her parents are Jaime and Christina Alonzo – she is their only child. Christina, Cierra’s mom said they were expecting a boy according to their Doctor. They were blessed with a beautiful baby girl weighing in at 8 lbs. 11oz’s and 19 1/2 in length. She was a healthy baby girl. Cierra is very family oriented – all about family. She always thinks about others and she is one that is extremely close to both grandparents on both sides. Cierra is a young lady of God and her mother always reminds her that self value is very important. Mom says, ” when you honor and value yourself, you are honoring God because you are his creation, a beautiful reflection of him.” Cierra is honestly Momma and Daddy’s world. Cierra has impacted their life in the best way possible – making them want to be become better people everyday.
As I was capturing Cierra’s beautiful and breathtaking smile, she honestly lit up through entire session. She was just so much fun and so easy to work with. Cierra, was bashful at first, but she just brightened everyones day. She was taught how to respect, love, appreciate just everyone around her. This was my first time working with Cierra, but she was just so comfortable to photograph, and her genuine spirit made it just that much more fun! I have seen pictures and some videos on hers and her mom’s social media, and everyone just loves her to pieces. Those cousins just look up to her. I love that I can capture all of that and honestly see it through her pictures.
Cierra has been involved in many extracurricular activities. She’s been in Girl scouts, played soccer, and is still playing Softball and is also a member of Powerlifting. As of right now, she is still unsure of where to go to college after Graduation. She is undecided between TAMU-CC or Texas State University and major in Kinesiology. She also wants to be a sports trainer or a physical therapist. I can see Cierra doing it all. She is very athletic and it shows in everything she does.
Some of Cierra’s dislikes are lizards, frogs, Chinese food, seafood, mean people and of course, the drama. And honestly, I can see all of that. You can see when someone is such a kind and beautiful person with an amazing heart. I’ve captured many girls, but Cierra touched my heart from the start. She is a rare gem.
Also, she is such an inspiration. As a young teen, she is always willing to help out without being told – helpful with her family. She is one that loves to spend time with her parents, and nowadays not all teens like to spend that time. Cierra is definitely a role model.
Getting to know Cierra throughout her session, was just something I will cherish forever. I can truly tell you, Cierra is a huge blessing to me and to us all. Dream big, kid. “Set a goal to achieve something that is so BIG, so exhilarating that it excites you and scares at the same time.” -Bob Proctor
