Meet Judy-Tiffany Photography
No mother is ever prepared for the worst news, especially when it comes to your kids. Judy Martinez was never prepared for this.
Although, she distinctly remembers being on a religious journey and having God by her side along with strong family, and incredibly faithful friends.
Her thoughts when she began this journey with her son, Jaxson only 2 1/2 years old was diagnosed with Stage 4 High Risk Neuroblastoma Cancer.
Her days were spent at the Children’s Methodist Hospital with her first born whose life was changed on September 26, 2014 when he was just diagnosed.
CT scans were done where his primary tumor was found in his abdomen (softball size), also, a tumor was found in his head (ping-pong size). Another biopsy
was done where they also discovered bone marrow cancer.
Judy knew she had to keep it together for her family. She was also 6 months pregnant with her second child, Jillian Joy. Her faith carried her through this as she
knew and truly believed they would all be okay. On one particular day, she felt that in her heart, and it was sure a confirmation for her. As she was waiting in line
to get her parking pass, she remembered seeing a lady in a purple dress with a cute purse, and thinking “I like her dress and purse.” Although, she could never see
her face. As she continued waiting for her parking ticket, about 10-15 minutes later, she made her way to her car, where she hears a voice, “excuse me, something
is telling me you need a hug.” She hugged this beautiful stranger for several minutes and she assured her everything would be okay, and she walked away. Judy
was shocked as she sat in her car and she tried looking for this beautiful stranger, but she was nowhere to be found. She believes she was and Angel sent to relieve
her from stress and she was feeling with Jaxson’s diagnosis. It was to reassure her that God was by her side.
Like all Mothers, she faces difficult circumstances on a daily basis – some more severe than others, but with every difficulty comes the opportunity to make
her stronger. She might be stronger, because she can manage more, and because the love for her children forces her to offer them the best of who she is and what she can give them.
Judy, just like all Mom’s loves spending time with her family. She is married to Juan Martinez, and now has 3 adorable children. Jaxson Isaiah, 6, Jillian Joy, 3 and their youngest bundle of joy, Justice Jude, 6 months. The Martinez family is one family I have honeslty loved working with. I was able to work with them a few years ago when they allowed me to share Jaxson’s story with Beauty Revived. My heart is so full, and I am so thankful they opened up one more time. Their story has inspired me, and so many others in our community.
But, with powerful prayers and lots of faith, Jaxson is now Cancer free. He is now being the kid he was meant to be. No more hospital beds, hallways, or hospital stays…it’s only school activities, running and playground play. God sure doesn’t give us more than we can handle. He was a true fighter, and a true Warrior. In my eyes, not all Superhero’s wear capes, this Mom and unbelievable Warrior are the real Superhero’s.
